VFM2024: Visa For Music Ambassador for Nigeria Invites Artists to Apply for the 2024 Edition

The Visa For Music Ambassador for Nigeria, Amb. Kazeem Balogun has invited Nigerian Artists to send in their applications for the 11th edition in order for them to participate at the festival which will take place from 20th- 23rd November, 2024 in Rabat, Morocco
He made this known through a release made available to the media following an official registration opening by the organisers recently.
Mr. Balogun stated that the Nigerian Music has impacted the continent and the world positively which has necessitated a huge consideration and greater admiration from music promoters across the world including Visa For Music organisers.
“Nigerian Music has evolved over the years and it has been considered and admired by the global music stakeholders, it is in view of this that l am inviting Nigerian Artists of all genres to quickly send in their applications so as to ensure they participate and represent the country at the 11the edition of the festival in Rabat, Morocco.
“Having attended the festival last year, l was able to see the potential it has and the opportunities Nigerian Artists could get if they participate, and also, the organisers are so much interested in Nigeria to be well represented at the event which to me is a positve signal for the country because Visa For Music is major musical market for Africa and the Middle East.
“We also planning to involve the government officials, artists, promoters, producers and all other music and entertainment stakeholders in the country as we are currently planning to create a Nigerian Music Day during the festival“, he said.

The 10th edition held last year was a huge success where 64 concerts took place on 9 stages that scattered across Rabat Central City. There were 1, 200 professionals participated from 80 countries across the world and 1, 400 speed meetings also took place with the inspiring and engaging conferences where many innovative thoughts were brought to bear with the aim of advancing the music sector of the continent.
Applications are being accepted by the organisers for 11th edition, calling for Artists till 18th March, 2024.
