NIHOTOUR DG Endorses African Youth Tourism Festival

The Director General of National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism, NIHOTOUR, Alhaji Nura Kangiwa has endorsed the forthcoming African Youth Tourism Festival.
The Director General assured the organizers of the African Youth Tourism Festival led by Amb. Ayo Omotoso during his official visit to the institute in Abuja.
“African youths must begin to see tourism as a positive instrument of vocational living” Kangiwa said.
The institute will lead stakeholders and delegates in culinary tourism in Nigeria to showcase the variety of African Foods to the world.
Amb. Ayo Omotoso expressed that the NIHOTOUR is reputable in tourism and hospitality training with a flagship in gastronomy event organized annually.
Omotoso said “We find it worthy to associate with the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism in the epoch-making African Youth Tourism Festival slated for 16th to 20th April at Tafawa Balewa Square, TBS, Lagos, Nigeria”
The 5-day event is lined up with interesting activities such as conference and exhibition, musicals and cultural displays.
Other activities include 100 talking drummers emsembe, African food carnival, hospitality fiesta, city tour, beach tourism party, talents discovery, fashion show, among others.
