Nigerian Music Day to Take Place at 2024 Visa For Music Festival as the Event Calls for Application

All preparations are on top gear for the staging of Nigerian Music Day at the 2024 edition of the prestigious Visa For Music Festival slated for 20- 23rd November, 2024 in Rabat, Morocco.
This was disclosed by Mr. Kazeem Balogun, the Visa For Music Ambassador in Nigeria who also expressed the desire of the organisers to have the best musical event for this year.
Mr. Balogun stated that the Nigeria Music Day would involve the government officials, artists, promoters, producers and all other music and entertainment stakeholders in the country.

“Our intention is to take Nigerian music to the Northern part of Africa and the Middle East. We are involving top government officials, and the private sector stakeholders in the entertainment sector of our economy. We are currently in the planning and intimation stage but very soon further elaborate information will be made available to the general public.
“Visa For Music is one of the foremost music and entertainment markets rooted in Africa since 2014, a vibrant festival celebration that highlights global musical diversity with focus on Africa and the Middle East.
“The 10th edition held last year was a huge success where we had 64 concerts on 9 stages that scattered across Rabat Central City. There were 1200 professionals participated from 80 countries across the world and 1400 speed meetings took place with the inspiring and engaging conferences where many innovative thoughts were brought to bear with the aim of advancing the music sector of Africa” Balogun said.
The 11th edition will take place is now calling for Artists’ application till 18th March, 2024.
