Mr. Bini Daouda Receives his Grassroots Africa Award

The Founder of Adayé Kessie Foundation Mr. Bini Ouattara Daouda has received his Grassroots Africa award and certificate in the category of African Champion.

Mr. Kazeem Balogun, Founder of the Grassroots Africa Awards and Conference International gave the award and certificate to him at a brief ceremony in his office in Abidjan.

Appreciating the gesture, Mr. Daouda expressed his delight for the recognition done on him by the team from the Grassroots Africa Awards.

He informed the gathering about his unflinching resolve to support humanity and to support the awards initiatives.

This is a commitment we have taken up, and we will continue to support our community and humanity. We will also give our utmost support to this initiative from the Grassroots Africa Awards team”, he said.

Mr. Kazeem Balogun, CEO of Kalo Africa Media, the promoter of the award also told the gathering about the raison detre for the recognition which had to do with various positive initiatives that have been carried out in the area of community development by Mr. Bini in Tabagne, a community in the Eastern part of Cote D’Ivoire where Adayé Kessie Festival has been taking place for more than 30 years with his personal support.

Another initiative in the recent time was that Mr. Bini single handedly organised what he called “Afcon Village’ where the people from the community and beyond gathered to watch the football matches live.

In view of this, he has been shortlisted to be among the recipients of the 2024 edition which will take place in East Africa.

You will recall that the 2023 edition of the Grassroots Africa Awards and Conference International was held virtually where Mr. Bini was one of the recipients and the physical award was presented to him.

Present at the award presentation were Ms. Fatim Tollah, ATB Commissioner for Finance Mobilisation ; Mr Adebamibo Adewuyi, an Afro-Diasporan and host of other personalities.
