The Miss Tourism Africa pageant, a prestigious event celebrating African beauty, culture, and tourism, is the only Miss Tourism pageant that has gained recognition as the only global competition dedicated to promoting Africa’s tourism sector and heritage.

This has been made known by Santiago Roberts, the CEO of QHUE Production, the organiser of the Miss Tourism Africa. This pageant stands out for its uniqueness and inclusivity, welcoming contestants from around the world as long as they are of African descent.

As Santiago Roberts emphasized, “Miss Tourism Africa is open to contestants from Brazil, the USA, Europe, Asia, and across the world. The only condition is that they must be of African origin. The goal is to expose African tourism to Africans in the diaspora, using Africans living in those countries.”

This vision has driven the pageant to become a unique platform that highlights the diversity of African culture while reconnecting the African diaspora with their roots.

Beyond beauty, the competition serves a broader purpose. It is designed to foster cultural pride and strengthen ties between Africa and its diaspora by showcasing the continent’s rich tourism potential. Contestants bring attention to the various destinations, cultural practices, and opportunities across African countries, encouraging greater exploration and investment in the region.

This global outreach aligns with the growing movement to promote Africa’s cultural and economic assets on the world stage. With participants from diverse backgrounds, Miss Tourism Africa effectively taps into the talents and influence of the diaspora to bolster the visibility of Africa’s tourism industry.

Miss Tourism Africa continues to serve as a testament to the continent’s enduring cultural significance and its ability to inspire both locals and the diaspora to embrace and champion African tourism.
