The Miss Africa Tourism and Mister Tourism Africa 2024 beauty pageant is set to deliver an extraordinary experience, as the organizers promised a spectacular event at the grand finale scheduled for October 1st 2024. The event, themed “See Africa First,” will take place at the prestigious Landmark Event Center in Lagos, Nigeria, where the finest representatives from across the continent will compete for the coveted titles.

Santiago Robert, the lead organizer and head of the expert team behind the pageant, expressed his excitement during a press briefing and sashing ceremony at the Park Inn by Radisson in Lagos recently.

He emphasized the team’s commitment to presenting a world-class pageant that would not only highlight the beauty and grace of African contestants but also promote the continent’s rich culture and heritage on a global stage.

Robert assured the media and attendees that everything is set for a stunning event that promises to showcase the potential of African tourism through the pageant’s focus on beauty and culture. The event has garnered significant attention and support, with key sponsors such as Carlo Rossi, the African Tourism Board, Park Inn by Radisson, and Essenza all pledging their continued backing for this initiative. This year’s Miss Tourism Africa pageant has attracted contestants from a diverse range of African countries, including:

Cameroo, Chad, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria,Togo and Uganda.

On the men’s side, the Mister Tourism Africa competition will see contestants from:

The Gambia, Guinea, Lesotho, Liberia, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe

In the lead-up to the finale, contestants will engage in several pre-final activities, including a dry run, which will help prepare them for the final stage of the competition.
