FTAN President Nkereuwem Onung Hails NTTSE Initiative, Invites Tourists to Akwa Ibom for Christmas Unplugged 2.0

The recently concluded National Tourism Transportation Summit and Expo (NTTSE), held at the Velodrome, MKO Stadium in Abuja, has been hailed as a significant milestone in aligning transportation and tourism for Nigeria’s economic development. The event, themed “Tourism Transportation Connectivity: Accelerating the Synergy for National Economic Development,” brought together key stakeholders from both sectors to deliberate on innovative strategies for growth.

Among the notable voices at the summit was Mr. Nkereuwem Onung, President of the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN), who described the initiative as “timely and relevant.”

Seizing the opportunity, Mr. Onung, who also serves as the Special Adviser on Tourism to the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, extended an open invitation to Nigerians and foreigners to visit Akwa Ibom during the festive season.

“I assure visitors of an unforgettable experience in Akwa Ibom as we unveil the Arise Akwa Ibom Christmas Initiatives. Running from December 1st to 31st, this initiative promises pomp, pageantry, and the best of cultural, recreational, and festive celebrations,” he remarked.
