Cultural Oneness Festival 2023 : A Projection of Northern Ghana to the World

The Cultural Oneness Festival was successfully held in Tamale, Northern Ghana recently from December 6th-9th 2023 which aimed at promoting, marketing and creating awareness for the domestic tourism while also showcasing the diverse cultures of the people of Northern Ghana.

The festival had as its main theme “Celebrating the Diverse Cultures that Bonds us Together” with a lot of sub- themes that featured cultural displays, fashion shows, musical concerts, tours of monuments, workshops, forum, and other activities that were geared toward projecting the northern part of destination Ghana.

Cultural Oneness Festival 2023 received support from government officials, private sector players, kings, and paramount chiefs from Northern Ghana and beyond.

A highlight of the festival was a business forum that focused on discussions around sustainble developing of the Northern Ghana’s aggregate sectors such as agriculture, tourism, arts and crafts, traditions among others.

The Taste Of Afrika, founded by Tengol K. Kplemani and Martin Christopher Glin, organized the festival with the aim of promoting Ghana and Africa as a preferred tourist destination and an investment hub.

This initiative was endorsed and partnered by the leading tourism organization in the continent, the African Tourism Board where Amb. Francis Mugoga, the Commissioner for Tourism Sustainable Products Development represented the organization and played a very pivotal role.
