ATB Congratulates Ms. Mmaditonki Setwaba on her Appointment, Promises to Work Together to Support African Tour Guides

African Tourism Board, through its Executive Chairman, Cuthbert Ncube has congratulated Ms. Mmaditonki Setwaba, the National Registrar for Tourist Guides in South Africa on her deserving appointment with a promise to work with her in supporting the tourist guides across the continent.
“At ATB, we extend our best wishes to Ms. Mmaditonki Setwaba on this appointment which came at a time when South Africa and to a larger extent, Africa need to accord full recognition to the tourist guides who have been badly impacted by the adverse effect of COVID-19 pandemic”.
“There is no better time to synergise among member states by supporting this sub-sector within African tourism space because it will create a vaccum if we fail to do so”
“One of the advantages from the COVID-19 pandemic has been that it afforded us the need to show more support to all our various sectors, hence commending the leadership, Hon. Lindiwe Sisulu, the Minister of Tourism, South Africa for this appointment, which displays how supportive you have been”.
“ATB will not relent also at supporting career elevations of this nature that are hinged on stimulating the tourism sector especially where little or no attention is given by those concerned” , Ncube said.
Ms. Mmaditonki Setwaba was recently appointed the National Registrar of Tourist Guides in South Africa under the Provincial Registrar in the country within the Ministry of Tourism.
African Tourism Board is a Pan-African tourism organization with a mission to repositon the continental tourism sector. It has its headquarters in the Kingdom of Eswatini with the presence of its Ambassadors across the globe.
The organization is in preparation to unveiling its headquarters in the Kingdom of Eswatini by March 25th, 2022 in Mbabane, where continental and global tourism VIPs will be physically present to celebrate with ATB in its drive to advancing tourism in Africa.
The unveiling also coincide with the prestigious Marula Festival in the Kingdom of Eswatini which had in the past hosted President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa and Hon. Lindiwe Sisulu, the Minister of Tourism, South Africa respectively among others.
