Amb. Mariam Lesian, Representing ATB in Tanzania Receives an Award at the Pan-African Women Empowerment Summit 2022
One of the several recipients of the Pan-African Women Empowerment Summit 2022 awards of recognition for their sterling achievements was ATB’s Brand Ambassador, Ms. Mariam Lesian, the ATB Ambassador in Tanzania at Medinat Bah Hotel, Zanzibar recently.
The elated Mariam was caught unaware as she expressed her astonishment when her name was called out to the admiration of those present.
Reacting, Amb. Mariam displayed her excitement and astonishment at receiving such a recognition from the organizers, saying:
“I thank the organizers of Pan African Women Summit 2022, for this special award as The Best Woman Entrepreneur 2022, on this special women day. My fellow women, Let’s support each other and fix each other’s crown, Let’s work tirelessly, we will be rewarded for ours achievements”, she said.
Presenting the award, the Convener of PAWES, Ms. Bea Hackula President, Africa for Africa Women, eulogised Amb. Mariam for the role played in the build up to the event and representing ATB in such a great way, linking up with all the governmental establishments relevant for the event within Zanzibar.
The award was handed to her by the Super Minister, Hon. Mudrik Sogara, Minister of State President’s Office, Labour, Economy and Investment with his better half.
On his part, Hon. Cuthbert Ncube, the Executive Chairman, African Tourism Board who was a special guest of honour at the event also applauded Amb. Mariam for making the organisation proud, receiving such an award.
Amb. Mariam Ali Lesian is the CEO of Emblem International, a tourism and media consulting company based in Dar Es Salaam,Tanzania. She is a member of ATB and other renowned organizations. She was one of the recipients of the special award of recognition as “the Best Woman Entrepreneur “ at PAWES.
