African Tourism Board Lauds Nigeria’s Medical Tourism Potential at All Africa Medical and Wellness Expo in Abuja

In a compelling address delivered at the 2nd All Africa Medical and Wellness Expo, Amb. Kazeem Balogun, Director of Media and Communications for the African Tourism Board (ATB), conveyed a goodwill message on behalf of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Cuthbert Ncube. The message emphasized Nigeria’s growing potential as a premier destination for medical tourism in Africa.

Held yesterday, at the Nicon Luxury Hotel in Abuja, the expo focused on the theme “Medical Tourism: The Emerging Opportunity in Nigeria.” where Amb. Balogun praised the timeliness and relevance of the theme, noting that as the world continues to emerge from the global health crises of recent years, medical and wellness tourism has gained prominence as a critical sector with the dual potential to drive economic growth and enhance quality of life across the continent.

The expo, he stated, provides a crucial platform for stakeholders to discuss, innovate, and strategize on maximizing these opportunities.
